davidhopedriving is an independently run driving school. This privacy notice explains how I use any personal information collected about you when you use this website.
What information is collected about you?
Information is collected about you when you make an enquiry. This information will be solely used to contact you regarding your lesson enquiry. Website usage information is also collected using cookies.
If you subsequently agree to provide a review and a photography of yourself (upon passing the driving test) I may display this information on this website and/or on Facebook. Please note once on Facebook I can not prevent your review or image being copied or shared. However, should you wish to exercise your right to subsequently remove any such information under our control I will happily do so as soon as possible.
How will we use the information about you?
I collect information about you to respond to your enquiry, and if you decide to go ahead and learn to drive with me I will also use your information record your progress and lesson payments. Once you are no longer learning to drive with me, all of your contact details, progress and lesson payment records is destroyed.
How are financial transactions handled?
Payment requests are made verbally or by text message, as agreed with you. No bank information is received or retained by me. Payments can be made by cash or by bank transfer. All payments are required 48 hours prior to the booked lesson, or in the case of a block or course booking, 48 hours prior to the first diarised lesson.
How long do we keep your personal information online?
Your information is not recorded online, unless you contact me directly by email, in which case your email will be stored in my email account. Personal information related to your driving progress is retained only whilst you are learning to drive with me. Your personal information, contact details and address will not be used, other than for the purpose of delivering driving lessons, arranging lesson bookings and requesting payment.
Marketing right to opt-out
There is no marketing information to opt in, or out of.
