No, I provide lessons in a manual car. If you are worried about learning to use gears, it is much easier than you think! Many of my students have come to me, after initially requesting lessons in an automatic car, and they have all been surprised and pleased when they realise they can do it.
Remaining calm and supporting you to learn at your own pace is fundamental to the way I teach. I teach many nervous new learners to become confident and safe drivers, as well as providing refresher lessons for drivers who have not driven for a number of years and would like to return to the roads.
For any learner to take their test in my car I would need to be confident that they are 'test ready'. To do this I am happy to provide a lesson in my car where you would take a 'mock test' so I can properly assess your driving skills and competence against the driving test standards. Please contact me in plenty of time before your test if this is something you would like to request.
